ARTICLE WRITTEN ABOUT PROUD BOYS THAT WAS REASONABLE
There was an article that was not a total crock of shit written by Claire Goforth on The Daily Dot. In the article she of course had to plop out the typical bias media talking points of the Proud Boys being violent without mentioning that the violence is self defense almost 100% of the time and that our “leaders” were at the Jan.6 riot “fighting to overturn the election” without mentioning that there was no intention or any plan to do so.
But here is the real headline. She actually quoted us and highlighted that we said we WERE NOT going to do shit regardless of the election results! (Paraphrasing, of course) Also, that we have responded to, disputed, and denied other bullshit articles that said that we were making plans to riot if Trump lost. (Paraphrasing again) She also pointed out that we shamed anyone that had or has any intention to do so.
Of course, she had to put in a tidbit that it is possible that we are lying (we aren’t) but that it is also possible that post Jan. 6 we are, as a club, no longer interested in the gay world of political rallies that have no effect except to expand a bullshit media narrative of right-wing political violence that does nothing but minimize the true problems in this country by burying them with sensational nonsense. (Again, paraphrase)
So we salute Claire for writing an article that actually seemed to try to highlight the truth. Also, Claire, zero beers 😉 .
